Cache Valley Utah

So I hate to be that guy but once April 1st rolls around I'd like to try and shed hunt the area. I'm not from around here and only have a car so I'm hoping someone can give me tips on an area I can walk from a paved road. Ive tried driving up Logan and Green canyon but I dont really see anywhere I could go.
