Can a guy hunt the Wasatch with a general Archery Tag?

Wasatch Front? Is this area available for a general draw archery tag? I want to hunt around box elder peak and the surrounding area. Can I do this?

yes, you can hunt statewide for deer except the LE and CWMU units on the archery tag!!!

I scouted it a couple of years ago and saw alot of bucks in the 18-23" range but I know there are bigger ones up there. WARNING, it is very,very steep and rugged country. I hope your in very good shape.

I have hunted it but there is easier hunting around with better chances to get a nice buck i have never seen a trophy there but there are nice shooters there. however like it was said it is steep and if you climb in the deer you see there are the same in less life threating areas.

Front Range Mulies
From my experience that area is better suited for sheep and and goat hunting than trophy bucks. Although, there are some nice elk herds that roam through there, alternating between alpine and tibble fork sides of the peak.
