Bummer deal, I suppose. Thoughts? I guess sometimes it's a good thing.

It's a bummer but quite frankly it's better than asking me, as a tax payer, to bail them out I suppose.

With that being said, I really enjoy their stores. The one here in Burlington is fairly new too. Dang it!

really stinks! i really dont know how it all playes out. around here we dont have a cabelas, bass-pro, ya-da ya-da. we have a GI joes[ also filed for bankrupsy] big 5, and some good little stores. but to get a variaty you go to sportsmans. ares sold to the canadian company , so hopefully it's safe and will continue being a well stocked, up-to-date, store.i've never had any problems with customer service. the main archery shop guy was a well known guy who had his own shop long before sportsmans came around. they offered him a job and he sold his store and took it. [ but he is the only guy in the store i will let work on my bow, to many kids working there i dont trust]
hope it all works out for them, and like AGCHAWK said: it's better than asking the taxpayers for a bailout :>/
