Christmas Song Titles

I'd like to wish you all a Merry Christmas. Here's my Christmas wish through song titles.

After reading through several Christmas song titles I learned that the first Christmas night was a pretty busy affair. I also learned that it led to a warm and fun time of year. I wish all of you the very best possible Christmas.

Here’s what I learned from the Christmas song titles.

“It Came upon a Midnight Clear” when “Hark! The Herald Angels did Sing”, “Joy to the World” on a “Silent Night”, “Away in a Manger”. Those “Angels we have Heard on High” told of “The first Noel” while “The Drummer Boy” played.

The call “O Come All Ye Faithful” rang like “Jingle Bells” to many. “Do You Hear What I Hear” cried the night wind. “We Three Kings of Orient are” coming to “O Little Town of Bethlehem” on that “O Holy Night”, “While Shepherds Watched Their Flocks” and “Gentle Mary Laid her Child”.

“Angels and Shepherds” sang “In Excelsis Gloria” and proclaimed the “Hallelujah Chorus” along with “God rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”.

Because “Christ is Born in Bethlehem” “Good King Wenceslas” looked out and “Good Christian Men, Rejoice”. “I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day” and then “I Saw Three Ships”.

Because of His “Greatest Gift of All” we “Deck the Halls” “Caroling Caroling”. We take a “Sleigh Ride” in a “Winter Wonderland” if it’s a “White Christmas” We go “Home for the Holidays”, “Over the River and Through the Woods”.

“It’s the most Wonderful Time of the Year” and if you’re “Getting Nuttin for Christmas” don’t be “Mr. Grinch” instead have a “Holly Jolly Christmas” and a “Feliz Navidad”. I hope you enjoy “Rocking around the Christmas Tree” with all its “Silver Bells”, while singing “O Christmas Tree” with family.

Dear friends “It’s Beginning to Look a lot Like Christmas” and if “Grandma Got Ran Over By a Reindeer” don’t worry cause “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”. If others are having a “Blue Christmas” and “Do they know it’s Christmas Time” pangs your heart, invite then in for “Christmas Dinner” “Let it Snow”, and “Let There be Peace on Earth”.

Along with “Frosty the Snowman”, “Rudolf the Red-nosed Reindeer” and “Santa Baby”, I’d like to say “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” and “We wish you a Merry Christmas”.
