CO 35

Looking for info on this unit. Want to hunt deer and elk. Any body with any thoughts on this unit? PM me if you can help thanks.

IRONHEAD, I hunted 35 this fall during 3rd season rifle. The area I was in was mainly a deer area, so we didn't see any wapiti. I know that 35 has some elk but I haven't hunted them there before. I have the story under the muler deer section...Our Colorado Deer hunt, so something like that. Let me know if you have any questions on deer in 35, I could probably assist you a little.

I live in that unit. It has generally been a good unit in years past but if your not willing to walk a few miles a day you wont be so lucky. Expect a lot of other hunters in that area as well. the elk are all up high usually on the 10,000 acre Castle Peak Ranch. If you want some good valid info on this hunt let me know and i would be glad to give you the info to be successful.
