Colorado - Area 501

Hi, has anybody here been to 501? My son got his first Elk tag this year and we are looking for any information on 501.

It's south of Mt. Evans and west of Castle Rock.
That's all I know about it.

there is some good country in that unit , but i have not been there since the haymen fire ripped through there in 2002 . you should think about contacting the dow and see what they can tell you about the unit .
