colorado antelope

hi everyone i am 15 yrs old has anyone hunted antelope in eastern colorado. i will try to get a speed goat with my bow.

any advice would help.

 Dave most of the eastern plain archery tags are over-the-counter. So getting a tag will be easy but finding some land to hunt will be tougher, as most of the land in eastern Colorado is private. You might want to look over by Springfield & LaJunta on the grasslands.

i am going through an outfitter it takes 12 years to draw a tag.me and dad bought landowner tags.

Yes, I've rifle hunted and killed quite a few Colorado antelope over the years. The hard part is drawing a tag. I haven't bow hunted them yet. Sounds like you and your Dad have some great landowner tags.

What unit are you hunting?

I am kinda of curious because you said it takes 12 pp points to draw is that 12pp for a rifle tag . I know you are hunting with a bow though.

i am useing a outfitter the unit is near wellington colorado he letting me

use my bow.

That would be unit 9,19 or 87 I live in that area I am only curious of waht unit the the tag is for because you said it takes 12 points to draw if you where to draw and being that I am from up here I am curious where it takes 12 points to draw near Wellington?

It don't take 12pts.
AM009P1R=4pts=100% draw
AM08701R=7pts=100% draw
AM08701A=3pts=100% draw

No hunt codes this year for unit 19 for antelope.
