And my son and I drew unit 53, 3rd season! Very much looking forward to this hunt.

I put in for an early rifle tag in unit 36 but no luck. I did draw my second choice archery tag. As soon as the snow melts I will be backpacking into my spot and getting set up. I cant wait.

If you didn't ask for the leftover draw, the checks should be mailed within a week or two.

Congrats on all of you who drew. We didn't get our first choice but we did get a 2nd choice, 2nd season tag.

I got realy lucky this year. I drew a doe tag with 2 points, and a cow elk with no points. Both are for area 591 3rd season. Now I will buy a over the counter bull tag and a bear tag for the same season. I will be tagged up. Wonder if I will see anything. lol 10sign: :thumb =D>

 Congrats coloradobuck! My dad applied for the 4th season tag I drew last year with 10 points but he had 13 points and didnt get drawn because it took 14 to draw this year. I hope my posts about the area didnt help drive up the point requirement for that area. good luck on your hunt I know you will find a nice one.

Congrats to everyone who drew the tags they hoped for. For a variety of reasons I haven't really hunted mulies here in CO since the last year you could buy an OTC archery tag with the execption of a half-day management hunt thanks to a friend kicking me down a landowner voucher tag. I finally just got off the dime last year and put in for a point and burned it this year on a 4th season tag for the Kremmling area. Looks like I will be starting from scratch hunting new to me units after a long hiatus. We do archery hunt bulls OTC every year and have enjoyed outstanding success. Feed situation looks good this year on the summer range and I expect it to be a decent year for antler growth. Again, best of luck everyone!!
