colorado unit 33 ,34 questions

My son and I GOT drawn for the flat tops units first season elk got my maps finally and have been looking at unit 33 or 34 seems to be a little less hunters. than the rest . I have never been to colo. before looking for a little info. I was hoping to hike into some area and spike camp with my 16 y.o. son. But it seems like there is just roads everywhere but the flat tops.there are several trail system out of the wilderness area but not sure if guys on quads can use them. I would like to be away from quads. Any suggestions, or comments about what kind of terrain we are facing would be very helpful.We are going o have 3 to 4 days to scout prior to opening so I'm sure we'll find somethin

if ur in the wilderness area the terrain is pretty rough in those and the quads, dirtbikes, bicycles, game carts anything like that is not allowed so im sure you will be somewhat alone be ready to hunt hard up there and if you can find some deep nasty areas thats ur best chance

thanks, for the info just gonna make sure my son packs all the heavy stuff to slow him done alittle.
