continuation of spider bull.

I've been watching this site for quite a while now and finally something has come up that i can't let go with out bieng talked about. As far as myself and many others are concerned this was not a DIY hunt by no means. Just because some body is dumb enough to purchase a tag for as much money as they did does not make them any different than any one else. This bull was killed during a muzzle loader season with a rifle. Just because this guy had more money than sense dose not change the fact that he should be hunting with a muzzleloader for that reason this bull sould not be allowed in to the B&C book. This guy hired the mossback crew ( 8 to 10 ) guys to do everything for him except pull the trigger. This is what you call buying your trophy not hunting. I lived in Nevada for 12 years and recently moved back to Montana but while i was living and hunting in Nevada i saw several times how the mossback crew operates under western wildlife as guides during there hunts by partially blocking roads with pick ups and putting up signs saying camers in use during their hunts just to make that extra dollar to put there hunt on tape to sell to the public. I'ts guides an hunters like this that this sprot does not need anti hunters nor new hunters seeing or judging the sport of hunting by. I agree with Nonya when he said he bought his trophy because that is all he did he sure didn't hunt him. I also agree with Mark it's still only the best bull money can buy and shame on you pro hunter for defending the so called mossback crew. One of these days you will realize what they are really like that is of course you work for him.People wonder why guides have such bad name or reputations its because of guides and people like this.

Its a dam shame that B&C is supporting this kind of hunt by recognizing this new record,I guess fair chase means paying 50 guys to hunt down and follow your game till you can show up with a tag nobody else can afford and use a weapon not legal for anyone else to use who might have been lucky enough to draw a tag in this area. Its a shame that a new record bull was killed in such a way and will forever be tarnished by it,as will our sport as long as this record stands(probably longer than we will). One of these days the people of UT and NV will tire of this 3 ring circus they promote and do something about it,for the sake of the common hunter I hope its soon. :thumb

.About myself. This situation i just couldnt let go.I was also a guide in Nevada and during this time this crew gave guides a bad name because of the way they did things all over Nevada but thats not to say all guides are bad because there are alot of guides in Nevada that love to hunt and do it the way it should be done.Onto other things I love to hunt everything.I hunt Nevada,Utah,Montana and California and have taken some really good animals in all those states. When big game is over the waterfowl season starts. When i get my scanner working i will post some pictures. You guys have a great site by the way, looking forwards to bieng a member.

Yhe just drop it,ignore the facts, pretend it never happened.....let our sport fall apart without saying a word....dont stand up and say anything about it.You can stick your head in the sand and pretend it makes no difference but it does and I wont. There are many that feel this way yet when someone mentions how they feel they are treated poorly, those who defend this kind of hunting do it amid insults and flames that get the threads locked, its obvious this topic isnt going to die, there are threads on every hunting site, articles in small town newspapers not even in Utah,Big name writers from hunting magazines discussing it,why shouldnt we be allowed to without being treated like the enemy? If you can discuss it like a grown up why bother posting?? :-k BTW me and big R have hunted together, worked together and have talked about this subject many times,I told him about this site and he has been lurking for quite some time.To those of you that say I have it out for guides in general,SUPRISE SUPRISE,one of my best hunting partners is a guide, just not the kind that ruin the sport for the common man.Im going to loan him a scanner so he can get some pics of his Nevada bucks up(where we are headed in 2009 [-o< ),you guys are in for a treat.

Hey guys,

I am going to lock this thread. Not becuase of your opinions....we are all entitled to them and we all have a pretty decent idea of what we all think.

Nothing good will come of our infighting on the site. If you disagree with this type of hunting, you need to take it to the folks that manage these hunts, make the rules and laws and regulations, etc. I can pretty much promise ya that these same folks are not on here chatting about hunting.

Big R....welcome to the site! I truely look forward to your input, thoughts, etc. We just try to run a friendly, helpful site here and I want to help Brett keep the fighting that seems to go on in every other internet hunting forum to a minimum here.
