Finally the powers that be are going to field a bullet that will put our enemy down instead of pissing them off! This is the best combat improvment we have seen for a while. It is about time we focused on delivering our fight rather than ways to hide in our up armored humvees and packing around 60 lbs body armor!

When I was there the M855 (ball) ammo was super accurate but definitely lacked any punch. Thanks to the Hague (spl?) convention and subsequent addition to geneva convention rules of war, expanding (hunting) bullets are outlawed due to the fact that the wounds are harder to treat. Damn the bad luck IMHO.
I can't tell you how many times I've seen through and through wounds with very little tissue damage. And the 5.56 ball will skip off a wind shield more times than not.
First the anti-wolf hunting post and now this, I need to go see a cardiologist. lol
