Hi there,
Im looking for a little advise. I pulled a leftover tag for 36A. Went scouting today and found a few mule deer in the flats but no wt on the near by hillsides. I have never hunted this unit. I know the obvious area is in the Buenos Ares Wildlife area down in the southwest corner.
Are there any wt on the north end of the unit near diamond bell ranch or green valley?
Tks in advance

I don't know the unit, but if you don't have too much experience hunting Coues, I could advise that you are probably at too low of an elevation if you are seeing mule deer. Coues are more common above 4500 feet, and like thicker areas with steep hills and canyons. The mule deer in Southern AZ normally are at the lower elevations where the terrain is more gently rolling and often with less vegetation. Good luck!
