Coyote Bounty

I heard from a buddy today that Tooele County here in Utah is offering a $75 bounty per Coyote. Has anyone else heard of this? Seems a little steep to me, but if so them i'm gonna have to go shoot me some yotes. Last I heard it was $20 but that was a couple years back.

That was gonna be my next question. I have heard everything from IFA to City Hall....... Apparently all you need to take in is the ears to collect the bounty though.

Here in Kane County you take them to the Clerk's office. The one problem we run into is they usually run out of cash in the first two weeks of the year, so first come first serve. I also heard a rumor the other day that our local BLM office was giving a bounty I need to check into it. BTW Kane's bounty is $25 per set of ears.

as far as I know it's still $20, and you have to take the whole coyote..... call Ken Madsen in Grantsville for more info.

$20 is still worth it as long as the price of gas stays down. 1 coyote would just about pay for the fuel to get out there and back.

i understand you take it to the county clerk and its 20 dollars and you need to cut the ears off... they both need to stay connected on the scalp so its one piece with both ears on it ,if that makes sense...they dont like you just cutting the ears off individually they want both ears on one peice from my understanding....i have heard they had probs with guys trapping them and just hacking the ears off and lettin em go again?i guess they seen several no earred yotes runnin around...now! i dont know how true that is, just somethin i heard i dont know why anyone would let them go again but ya never know maybe they thiought it was funny???
