Coyote hunting = missle find

Not the brightest individual, first digging it up, then bringing it home before he called the authorities. I'm guessing that's why this was the last line in the story:

"The man who found the weapon requested that his name not be used."

And to think my wife gets mad if I track mud in the house. Can't imagine what she'd do if I brought this home!

When my friend was living out in Wendover, UT just west of the bombing range they had person that had went onto the bombing range and pick one up and took it home because he thought that it would make a nice plant holder for the front yard. When the officials came and collected it they said that it was still a live round also. Boy somebody was watching over this guy.

That guy is luck to still be here. There is no way I would try and transport one of them things. It could be so unstable.

Yea, this guy is real lucky that the mortar round did not detonate! Explosives can become very unstable over time and sometimes all it takes is a bump in road as he's driving home to cause that thing to go off!

We had an Airman who was wondering around down here and picked up something that I guess looked interesting. We will never know since he is dead. Now everyone who comes around the Missile Range must recieve a briefing to not pickup anything etc etc.

This guy was stupid and very lucky no wonder he didn't want his name released.
