Coyotes

Been hunting them forever, but this fall I decided to try and call them to the camera and get a couple pictures of them. Found out it's a lot harder to get a good picture of a coyote than it is to just kill them :)) . But here are some of the better pics I did manage to get.

Great yotes there Coyote! I wish I had thought about it when I was calling in Beaver Mt. last week. I am sure I could have snaked one picture when this yote was looking at my dad and he had no idea it was there. I though he saw him come in but he was focused on a bobcat that sat on a ridge about 150 out. I just waited for the shot that never came. LOL

Thank you for the comments everyone. My own entertainment and sharing them online are the only reasons I take pictures in the first place. So I really do appreciate the comments!

Cast', you asked about equipment, these were all with a Canon 60D and a Sigma 150-500 lens. Had been really liking the 60D until it took a dump all the sudden a few weeks ago. Canon is fixing it under warranty, but they sure are taking forever with it...
