That skull would be so hard for me to leave behind. I would love to walk around yellowstone park, but for that reason I don't. No temptation this way.

ya i heard that also. A guy found a big stack of elk horns that had been hacked in half with a ax. Then he asked somebody who works at the park why and he said its to keep people from taking them ](*,) ](*,) ](*,)

Looks like there are a few more sets on the ground in the background. I have a hard time believing these were left behind. Yes, I do agree it is somewhat unfair that they don't let people shed hunt and remove things from National and State parks. This goes for EVERYTHING that is in the park (rocks, plants, etc.) On the other hand, if everyone was walking all over the park whenever they wanted, I could imagine that it could disturb some wildlife, and maybe cause some wear and tear on the park.
The biggest pet peave I have is seeing a magnificant wild animal and wanting to photograph it in its natural environment, and in all its glory but there is a big collar around it's neck, or tags in both ears. How is this helping the natural events of life, when you know every move they make?
