Deer Decoys

Anyone Stalk with decoys? My buddy has been telling me for a years how close he can get to deer using one so Last weekend I tried my buddies Montana Decoy just to see how close I could get. Well I didn't see any bucks but I was impressed Getting within 9 yards of a doe and her yearlings. I'm not sure how it would work carrying a bow and a decoy but I might Try...

I've never tried it either, but what the heck it couldn't hurt to try once or twice a season. Probably easier if you're going pistol or x-bow I would think.

I noticed if i walked towards the deer at a angle they didn't pay any attention to me.
