Deer that have been chewed a bit!

There is a predator problem in my favorite little piece of heaven. Always was but now I live too far away to help control it. Last year there were fewer fawns. Same this year. We saw one doe with a scar healing on her side to her hindquarter and three does with ripped and chewed ears. I got photos of two of them. These rugged little canyons are places the cats love though. Very few two legged hunters, which is nice.

I'm sorry to hear about the lower fawn #'s and chewed up deer. I always hate seeing any like that where I hunt at.

You might have to turn some cat/coyote hunters on to your honey hole. Sorry to hear about the deer numbers going down. fatrooster.
