Different or Same?

I think this first bull is bigger, seems to have wider antlers (which are hard to see), and a bigger body. Not to mention the man junk in the back. Pretty funny I thought... :) What do you guys think, different bull or the same one?

Good to hear because I was beginning to wonder if it was wishful thinking on my part. Do you think the one facing away is a little more mature?

I don't think you can really tell to be honest. I can't from the horns anyway, only thing is that the one looks to have possibly a darker coat, but could be lighting from distance and flash also.

I'll say different bulls, but both young.

I'd have to agree with that. I think the bull that is looking away may be a 5x5, probably only a year older than the other.

It's obviously different! Look at the fork at the top of the antler on the first bull. The second Bull doesn't have anything that resembles it.

Definitely, obviously, Different!
I think......Hell, shoot them both and then we'll know!

different bulls. The first one has a bigger body frame and darker coat.

Huntingbum is right, if you look closely you can see the first ones horns. Totally different. :thumb

I did a little work on the photo in the edit of photo shop, I will guarantee you that it is two different elk, The first bull has two brow tines aside, and is a way more mature bull if you zoom in on just his head you can see an ear and it is faced toward the camera so he is facing away and looking back at the camera, you will see the double brow tines on each side and even the start of the third on his right antler, It really works well if you invert the colors and look at it as a negative image you can really see the antler when it looks like a negitive
