DIY Backpack

I am going on a 6 day DIY elk hunt and am looking to see what you guys prefer for backpacks. I wish I could afford a Badlands Pack, but I simply can't really afford it this year. Does anyone use something that is good quality, but not as expensive? Let me know. :thumb

By the way it is a backcountry hunt. No roads means more game! :thumb

i've used the "dwight schuh" pack from feildline for yrs and love it.it runs 129.00 and is a great pack i think it's 3200 inches =/- and i really have absolutly no bad things to say about it. i couldn't resist and bought an eberlystock[sp??] pack cause i've heard great things about them. but after looking it over i dont see any major advantages over the schuh pack. i've used it for probably 5 yrs and use it hard for many bivy hunts each yr. it will do 6 days easily if you have the right gear. but that goes for any pack. you could buy a 5000 inch pack and over fill it easily if your packing the wrong gear. hope that helps..
