I just drew a bear tag and im already planning on where to go this fall.
I plan on setting up my cams this spring to get an idea of whats in the area.
What do you guys use (Bait wise)to lure them in? (Just for the scouting)
Where is the best place to put a cam?
I heard that they hang out on ridges quite a bit???
You guys with alot of bear luck Any info is appriciated.
Thanks, CA

Good luck on your scouting and on the Hunt. 4c
A simple way to find out what and where they are is find yourself a spot that would be a good tree stand spot and set up a camera.
buy a gallon of Buck Jam Sweet apple and just dump out maybe a 1/8 of it and go back once a week and do it again. You will be a amazed at how they love the smell of that stuff.
I used it this year to see what kind of critters were around and I had more bears this year than ever!
Where do you find the jam?
Thanks for your info. CA
The stuff is great!
