does flash spook game

The last two years ive had a flash cam set up on a fence line where the bucks come down off the mountain into alphalfa fields at night, they had well beaten down paths. I was getting around 100 pictures a night of all sizes. It didnt really seem to bother them but the big boys would just out smart me and go further down the fence line and then jump the fence. So I would rotate the cams every other night to a different location. There not stupid.
The elk were not afraid of the cams at all they would get very intregiued and take a closer look. every morning I would find my camera in many different parts spread across the field.
The bears would do a number on my cams also. I would have to wire them to the tree and they would still find ways to chew pieces off and sink their teeth into the lenses.

My opion if you are setting up in late season and you have a constant food sourse I really dont think you will have a problem witht the flash spooking them. Good Luck Keep your pictures posted..
