 I assume you're not talking about one of the 2011 sportsmans tags?

Brett, only $10.00 from me this year. Even though the odds are stacked high against me, I have to try for any chance to carry a gun on the Henries with a ligit tag in the pocket. I doubt I'll be putting in for much at the expo, but you can bet that there'll be at least $5.00 put in for the Henries tag.

Every year the DWR sells a set of tags for each species that they call the governors tags and they go for alot of money. With one of these tags a person can hunt from around september untill november of december and you can hunt any open ground in the entire state with the weapon of your choice.

The sportsmans draw is a public draw is only for the residents of the state to get a chance at getting the same type of a tag but if you draw you only have to pay the price of the permit. It's a luck of the draw and the chances of getting a tag are pretty tough. But oh boy if you do draw one.
