Well here in WA it's probably the Desert A unit. Since I know the Waha area in NE ID so well I'd probably take that one during my ID hunt (I'm sure there are more desirable areas but I know the Waha VERY well.

I don't know much about the other states although from what I've gathered here during my time on the site I could probably come up with a "hit list" of great Muley hunts.

NOrthern Utah boys thats where the big brutes hang. If you could hunt during the rut every year you could kill a buck every year that went 220 or bigger for 20 years no questions asked.

For a big buck, I'd take the Henry's in Utah or the strip in Arizona. For just a good hunt with above average bucks its hard to beat the Book Cliffs.

When my two sons Luke & Levi are old enough to do a backcountry Mulie hunt with me. Camping with minimum equipment and holding out for fat, above timberline bucks. [-o< :thumb OK if Cowgirl in CO wants to endure the hardships and tag along, she is more then welcome.

I would take a Wasatch Front tag, with a rifle, in November, and no other people on the mountain. It would be hard to find a better place that would turn up huge buck after huge buck every year. It's amazing what can happen when you turn an area into archery only.
