Eating Coyote????

My hunting buddy and I have been considering going out and trying our hands at some coyote hunting to get some field time in. I have never heard of anybody eating them and I bet there is a reason for that. Has anybody ever eaten coyote? Was it good? I could imagine that its greasy and gamey but I have no idea. What do you guys think?

Ha ha ha, thats what I thought. Usually theres a reason why you dont hear people talking about eating certain things.

I think that most people are turned off to them, for the fact that they eat almost, literally, everything. There are quite a few cultures that eat dog, maybe the rest of us are missing out????

I have eaten dog in Korea, not bad kinda greasy and sweet tasting. In the soup i also had the nose and alot of fat....but nonetheless it was definitely palatable...........*wonders at the potential*

Yotes stink so bad when youre skinning them that I don't think I could ever take a taste of one.

Well, when we were young and foolish we tried everything we killed. Coyote can be eaten if you are starving, but it does not taste like chicken.
