do you always carry with you an extra bow or do you just have extra string and so on when on a road trip?

Extra bow for sure. I've got enough of them laying around it would be silly for me to leave home for a long trip without two.

All of my equipment is reasonably priced. It's top dollar stuff that was on clearance usually because it wasn't fast enough. Ross bows are great bows and when they went out of business lots of them went for under $300.00. Just look around for opportunities. After bow season you can pick up top dollar stuff for little next to nothing from guys needing to make their next truck payment or buy christmas presents to sooth the wife's feelings after hunting too much last season.

Extra bow. Exact same as my primary. Same bow, sights, rest etc. I buy clearance stuff every 4-5 years. You can get some good deals when the latest greatest hit the market.

I normally keep a few extra strings and a spare limbs with me at all time just to be on the safe side.

I always have an extra string and bow. I picked up a back up bow on archerytalk very cheap and I never leave home w/o it. Both bows are set up the same and I shoot my back up atleast 3 times a week. If your going to put all the time and hard work in for a hunt the last thing you want is it ruined by a slip of a broadhead or cracked limb to end your hunt.

If I'm gonna go on a hunt for more than afew days or more than a day from my house I carry a second bow.

When I go out-of-state.......I have a back-up bow with me. Same exact bow and set-up as what I'm using.

Second bow. When I was ready for a new bow I just kept my old one rather than sell it. I am familiar with and still shoot it in preperation for the hunts. When I am going out of state I take it with me.
