Fighting for Wolf Management in Utah

There is a grass roots initiative out there that I am trying to help out with called Big Game Forever. I’m working with a gentleman named Bob Friel below who I was introduced to by a neighbor. Bob is recruiting “wolf warriors” (goofy name I know… lol ) to recruit 10 people who care about hunting/game conservation in Utah and are willing to send emails or call local government officials on specific days to push the delisting of wolves and/or wolf management in Utah. Pretty easy to do really...

I for one am concerned at the rapid rate at which wolves seem to be spreading into Utah. This effort is simple and all it will require at your hands is an email, letter or call every so often. I will personally just be sending emails. Anyway, if you or anyone else you know, would be willing to join my team please send me a PM and I'll notify you when it's time to send an email and to whom.

Thanks and I think this is a worthy cause,

Brandon

Howdy Brandon,

I applaud your efforts in a worthy matter. I too am concerned about the wolf problem. I will, however, continue my fight with different organizations until Mr. Peay fulfills his promises to the sportsmen who he is supposed to represent. Good luck in your efforts!

Thanks and good on you! It's like pulling teeth to get anybody to do anything. I only need 10 guys willing to send emails and I only currently have 3, that's including all my family and friends. I just would hate to sit back and watch wolves take over and know that I did nothing to prevent it. I hope everyone takes their own necessary steps to voice their discontent. Because in the end all we really have is our voices. Well, at least that's all I have, money would work too! :)

This is so very true unfortunately. So many of us get on the net and grunt up a storm about the wolves but never take it any farther for whatever reason. Emails and phone calls just take a few minutes but like you said, its like pulling teeth to get them motivated. Not sure of the reason though. I am in the process of setting up a Facebook account to help address the wolf issue here in Utah, it's a lot of work but well worth the effort. Maybe we can motivate a few hunters to voice thier concerns a bit louder, eh? :) :thumb ](*,)
