Finally

Man I've been chopping at the bit to 'get out' and find some summer growth. Finally got my chance a couple days
ago. Here is mostly what I found, no monsters but it sure was fun and felt good to try and find some big bucks.

As usual I found a couple of VERY weird bucks.

Hope you enjoy!

Your guess is as good as mine with the hard horned one?? Don't see that to often in June. :)

He's got some problems. ha ha

Great pictures, If I was a betting man I would bet that hard horned buck is pretty old.

Does anyone think that horn just didn't shed last winter?

I'd say he has some problems, it looks like he's trying to grow a new one underneath it. That's a "management buck" right there.
If my in-laws grew antlers... they'd probably look like that, too. lol

Nice pictures Brett. How far are you from most of those bucks?

Nice captures, Brett. Is it pretty dry out there?

As for the 1 horned, I think it's more that 'he just didn't shed' last winter.

Distance ridgetop...ranged from 15 yards to a little over 100 yards...estimate of course.

BOHNTR...it's WAY dry out there...like bad dry...worst I've seen it in years this time of year and spring/winter.
