Finally Getting Fixed!

Well I finally have a surgery date to fix my still seperated shoulder of two years! gotta love to Gov. Health care. turns out they are going to have to cut more bone out of me and use some cord and some donated ligament to tie my clavical back down to the shoulder blade. I'm really hoping this will help with my bow hunting and carrying a back pack.
I've also run into a hicup with my rebuilt ankle this week. It feels like the screw in my joint is working its way out and boy that feels great! Can't even be seen by my Doc until next monday.
So here is praying for a complete rebuild and recovery before this fall!
Anybody ever asked the doc if they could keep the bone they remove? i am going to ask I'm curious to see what they will say.

but i do feel for you, seperated shoulders hurts! i did it one year about 4 months before bow season.i practised very little, turned my bow down to 52 lbs, and set my limit for 20 yrds that year. luckly a little 5 point bull agreed to my limits:)
good luck on your surgery, and as far as the screw goes , ask if they could put some "lock tight" on it this time lol
Good luck on the recovery bud!
you know, i got my dog fixed when he was just 4 months old, he turned out to be the best dog to ever walk the earth. i kinda wish i would have left his berries on him, you know to maybe get a pup just like him?
after having both a girl and a boy, i thought "i'm" done, i decided to go get myself fixed too.
sometimes i have second thoughts, my kids are pretty cool-- another one wouldn't have sucked.
are you REALLY sure you wanna get fixed? lol ( sorry, couldn't pass up the title of the thread:)
