YUP you can say that again. If you work hard and do what you are saposed to. Than is will be the best, if not then you are in for a long miserable road trip.

That is AWESOME Show-me-your-rack!! Congratulations! I messed my chances of going on a mission and I regret it every day. It will be the best two years of your life! Hard to admit, but better than any trophy buck you'll ever shoot. Good luck and Return With Honor!

Nice to see how many LDS members are on this site. I was actually wondering about that, considering many of you are from the Utah area. Cool!

i dont think they are talking about the same tag that you are, it's a church mission for mormons [ correct me if i'm wrong, i'm not near as familiar with it as most here] where they go knock on a lot of doors.

oh and that reminds me of a joke-- no harm intended---- do you know why momons have inverted nipples??????? people poking them in the chest yelling" get off my porch" :)) :))

like i said no harm intended, it just made me think of one i heard

Congats on your call. I wish you the best of luck. It is definitely a lot of work but it is well worth it. It will go by faster than you could ever imagine. We'll definitely be waiting to hear from you when you get back.

LOL...Ya kill me Killer!!

I am not Mormon but have a few Mormon friends (Not including all the great folks here at MM). I told that joke to one of my buddies this morning while fishing. He got quite a kick out of it too.

Of course, he had to throw a few Catholic jokes back at me...LOL

Show_me_your_rack, good luck man and CONGRATS. As I stated, I'm not Mormon but my buddy ALWAYS talks about the two years he spent on his....he really seemed to enjoy it.

Good on ya!

Killerbee,

I'm pretty self conscious about my inverted nipples, and you just about made me cry. I tried to fix them once by using a safety pin, a couple feet of string, and a big heavy door. It might work for loose teeth, but I don't recommend it anywhere else.
:))

SMYR,

Congrats on the call. I served in Chicago, which covered part of Indiana. I never realized how flat the Midwest is until I found a road sign that was warning people about a hill they were approaching. The road dropped 10 feet into this little gully and then back up the other side. It's a good thing for that sign, or I might have got stuck in the bottom and had to hike out.

It sounds like your heart is in the right place, which means you'll do great. Best of luck, and be safe.

Congrats on a great tag, make it count. Remember no limits!!! Aim for the Heart and you can't go wrong. I served in the Brazil Salvador South Mission and loved it. Wouldn't trade it for anything. I learned and did more in two years than I could've packed into forty years.

I was able to harvest 6 rats with Rocks and Brooms and countless B&C Cochroaches. It kept my reflexes and hunting skills tuned and ready to return home.

If you want, I will keep your antlers locked up in a safe and keep them safe unitl you return.

Congrats man. Never went myself, got married instead. You'll love it and we'll all love the fact that we might be able to find some sheds while your gone. :))

Congrats SMYR!

I also filled that tag in the MAC. (Mision Argentina Cordoba) It was a great time filled with more suspense and anticipation that any other hunt I have been on. Work as hard as you do looking for sheds and hunting mulies and you will come home a winner. Good luck and RWH.
