First bowkill

So, the title expalins it all....post up some pics of your first bowkill elk. Here's mine, a 5x5 killed in the panhandle of idaho. Scored 274 5/8'' not the biggest bull, but a trophy to me, and a fairly good one for our area. Although I have been blessed in my 6 years of hunting, taking 4 bulls and 1 cow this kill will deffinately stick in my mind better than any other kill. Me and my dad spent 4 hours working this bull until I was able to get a 25 yrd shot on him while he was tearin up a tree. Once I get out of high school... graduate tomorrow :) .. I'll have more time for scouting the big one, haha.

Thanks guys! I'm very happy with the bull..and now i'm hooked on bowhunting! It's such a great accomplishment to be able to out smart an animal, ecspecially an elk, on their own grounds. Good luck this year Shed
