First brown elk set of the year.

Went out today to see what I could see for elk and saw this bull with one side, I watched him for 5 minutes and he knocked it off. I back tracked his tracks and found the other side about 300 yards away. Nice bull not big on length but they weigh about 12 pounds a piece. Very heavy. Here are a couple deer as well.
Elk have started.

It was, this is the second elk I have seen knock off their antlers first was two years ago 20 yards in front of me. Not to often to see.
Any time you can find bone is a good day, even if it is one old one or alot of fresh, better than being skunked.

Lucky find.
Hope my bulls keep comming down to our horses hay. They have been comming down every night for the last 2 weeks.

The big boys are too sly for my game cam. The rags are too dumb to notice whats going on. Ive been watching the 6x6. No sheds yet
I have his sheds from the past 3 years.
