Fitrst year bowhunting

It was my first year bowhunting ever and my cousins first year hunting period. I have to say there's nothing like it I'm hooked for life. I will always remember these first stalks and looks on my cousins face the first time I got him close to a buck. Neither of us managed to fill our tag but it wasnt for lack of trying. Next year we will be a little more experienced and hopefully a little luckier. Maybe we will put one through a big washington Muley. Maybe not but it don't matter as long as we get to spend some time in the sagebrush. Congratulations to all of you Who were succesful.

Bowhunting isn't about killing. Glad you discovered that and had fun. Here's Fred Bear on this subject. He says it best.

It's funny. There are a lot of converts from rifle to bow, but I know of no converts the other way around. It is an addiction. I've been bow hunting two seasons now and am going to buy my third bow tomorrow. Isn't that sick? The big problem (Or advantage) is you can shoot your bow in many places you can't shoot a rifle. When I started I was shooting from accross the street at some targets against my shed (No fence around my yard). Shooting a rifle like that would land me in jail. lol
