so anybody knowledgeable about food lots. i want to plant something that is drought tolerant and is a blend that will feed from spring into late winter. an annual would be prefered.

You can check with companies like Imperial, Whitetail Institute and Evolved Harvest. Check their recommendations for your area. Then you can always buy the seeds separately at your local mill to save money. You can’t go wrong with clover, chicory & Rye Grass.
