Forum Upgrade

We've just upgraded our Forum. Hang tight while we work out a few of the quirks and colors to get it just right.
If any of you are having problems with avatars not showing up, or any other oddities, post them here please.

two things that I don't like so far...the lack of contrast between some of the gray items and the white background and also the fact that the topic headings are centered instead of left justified. Takes longer to read the headings are you go down the page if you have to search for the begining of each heading down the page.

Just my .o2.

The colors will change guys, don't get use to the silver or white. All be gone soon enough. :)

 I agree, my first thoughts were....Yuck!
Have to squint to read it without the contrast.

Headings are centered on mine, using what ever version of Internet Explorer. I don't know how to tell which version I've got, a bit 'puter illiterate here.

Seems to have fixed the "cant post so soon" bug I get when I flip through the posts or back page too fast here.

Brett I think because you are using a MAC the browser is a little different, so you are seeing the left justified. But on my windows computer with the latest (version 7 i think) it shows up as Centered. I would also rather see the text left justified.

Yes I've seen it centered and it's definitely WORSE. It's left justified on my MAC you are correct in Safari and FireFox browsers. Someone use FireFox on a PC and tell me if it is centered there please. [-o<

I am using firefox right now and yes it is left justified, but when i open an internet explorer it is centered.

I think I've found the left/center justified bug with Internet Explorer. We'll get that fixed along with some color upgrades tomorrow.

I hate it already. Cant see to read the posts cause of the all white screen.

Hang on everyone, Im sure the color will get fixed. personaly I don't mind the color. maybe it is just my computer. i do like alot of the new features, some of them i haven't quite figured out in the user control panel, but i am geting ther.

My only complaint aside from the color is that the headings of the threads and the menus should be a bigger font than the text of the thread itself. Its kinda hard to see where you are to navigate your way around.

as far as format goes its cool though.

The colors you see now will change in time also, we wanted to get something
up that was cleaner and easier to see/read over the silver.

Will also make the text/font size bigger like mentioned also as I AGREE it's to small.

I think I've fixed the left-align issue for those using IE. I've also changed a few colors to make the forum more readable. THis is DEFINITELY not a final look. I'm trying to get all the functionality in place and working, and fix the bugs.

The "Pinkish" look will be gone before I mod the color and style of the forum. Hang in their. It's tedious stuff.

All topics are now left justified (IE 7 I think).

Looks awesome to me... just one more tweak... on the main forum page the "topics" text... could we make that biddger and bolder font? Could actually make the other text the moderators names and so forth smaller too... To me the topics are what the reader is looking for. Just my two cents. Looking good though!

Could you make the "next page" or "page 1, 2, 3" part with a larger font? I always have to hunt around a bit to find where to hit "next" page, or hit the next numbered page to keep reading a forum. Thanks.

 Yeah, we will try and increase that size, and make it more noticeable.
