Fresh Growth 2010

Alright it's that time of year when everyone asks when do deer starting growing their new antlers? Have all the deer dropped yet? Any still packin? etc.

you get the point so here is proof. :)

I saw a couple bucks still packin, 1 giant 2-point as photo shows. A 4-point with one side and several that had already dropped (most actually). And of course some fresh growth and some have dropped and haven't started to grow yet. There is a period between dropping and fresh growth where not much happens IMO just not sure how long this is?

All Southern Utah bucks.

Yep. Same thing further north. I saw some new nubs for the first time today.. last week I saw a couple still packing hard antlers.

I've found a few sheds so far but this on again-off again snow is making it difficult!

By the looks of him, he'll be lucky to get another chance to spread those big 2 point genes. Kinda skinny even for this time of year. ----shooter
