Funny looks.

This time of year I start practicing on my elk mouth calls, trying out new ones and working with the tried and true. It drives my wife crazy. In my work I drive from place to place so I decided to practice in traffic in the privacy of my van . Or so I thought. You would not believe some of the reactions you get sitting at lights. Butt I gotta do what I gotta do.

I've been doing the same thing, my wife thinks I'm crazy. So I took it to the road. I love getting reactions from people, and there is not a better time to practice than my 60+ minute drive everyday to and from work. Every little thing you can do will pay dividends come fall IMO.

yeah i practiced alot with a duck calls and goose calls in my car..but not in a patrol car....lol :thumb

 lol That is great! I get some crazy looks when I practice here in North Carolina that is for sure. The other day I walked back in the field behind my house to practice bugling. When I started to walk back to the house I noticed most of my neighbors on their porches trying to figure out what was in the field!

Very funny guys. I've done the duck calling practice in the car on the way to work, but geese in a patrol car and elk in NC are too funny lol

My neighbor was practicing his cow call one night so I snuck out and let out a bugle. LOL

he came running over like there was and elk in his back yard. LOL
