good deer

Well I had a great opening day in Utah. first light had a great shot on this 4x4 at 300 yards. First shot knocked him down. It does have a little cheater on the right side that comes out a half inch so almost a 5, but hey it was a great deer. Stood over the deer and was a happy camper and two bigger 4 points ran out at 50 yards in front of me. The first looked like he would push 30 inches. I could not believe my eyes when that happened and I watched them just walk off and head for the trees. All in all a great hunt for sure.
