Great Blue Heron - 12/6/07

Not the prettiest of birds, but still very cool in my opinion.

Watched him eat a minnow out of the River, couldn't get any pics. Darn things have Eagle eyes and won't let you get close at all. Flew into the tree and got a few shots before he took off again.

They rest one like like a lot of animals and birds. The other leg is tucked up in his feathers and body just perfect so you can see it at all.
