Wow what a buck! :thumb

My friend Art sent this to me the other day... I don't know the story but he said it was from eastern Colorado.

looks sort of like a caribou rack...not really, but that is what it reminds me of.

I love it. I would shoot that deer 100% of the time if I saw it.

Holy Smokes, that is a BRUTE for sure. I'm thinking he will go in the 240" range somewhere.

Great buck, no doubt! Unfortunately, I think it was found rather than harvested. Looks like some velvet on the right side and the antlers look a little bleached from the sun. Could be wrong, though.

or it could be one of those bucks someone had on there garage for years and then pulled it off after figureing out it was truly a pig!

Awesome buck for sure.
Could be bleach looked due to it lived in the sagebrush country. As when they rub on the sage brush does not leave pitch like the bucks in the mountains when they rub on trees.
If you look at any of the bucks I have taken they are all light colored horns.

Heck of a rack. Not that it matters, but I believe to that it's a pick up rack.
No stain, Looks like the hide fell off the skull, not knife cut, and the first velvet to fall/wear of antlers is on the tip, normally.

Sweey looking deer. I hunted for antelope out east yesterday and the landowner had some mounts in his house of some bucks that were kileed out there....no idea they got that bog out east.
