Great Elk Hunt

Well after a very slow opening for the archery elk, I was able to get up and try one last time with a friend and it paid out for the both of us as we both ended up with a cow in a day and a half. I worked my butt off in that day and a half and it was all worth it. My buddy shot his Tues night and I shot mine Wed night. We slept in Thurs morning zzz . I just wanted the meat and I consider it a bonus with a bow. I will post some pics later. Thanks and I am new to this forum it looks great.
