Thought I would chime in. It's drier than hell here in Central Texas. That has absolutely nothing to do with my two upcoming mule deer hunts. First hunt is a Muzzle hunt for mule deer unit 67 colorado, their snowpack is melting fast I'm told. The second hunt is on the Filamor Oak Creek unit in Utah. I have know Idea what their moisture is like. I'm hoping decent since it took a non-resident 11 years to draw. I can't wait

Utah has had a ton of snow. I live up north and it snowed about a week ago up on top of the hills. I hunt down around filmore there are some nice deer down there im not sure how much snow or moisture they still got but i know the southern end got pounded by snow this winter so should be some real bruisers down there this year

Sniper1 have you ever actually hunted the Filamore oak creek unit? Anything you can tell me about the country. Is it going to be loaded up with people like the Henry Mtns unit? Any info would help. I'm 1400 miles away and am going to be unable to scout for this hunt due to a shoulder injury.
