Had A Good Day

Sweet drawing! That looks like some good country, and some nice finds. I fight fire in the summer and I've found quite a few sheds burned up and it's always a bummer.

That looks like a great spot to hike around in. I always wondered what happens to sheds in a fire and whether they could survive. It seems like those burn areas would be great a year or two after when all the new growth is coming up. Nice elk sheds!

I've seen times when the wild fires burn all organic material and stuff like bone and antlers. Depends on how dry things are, humidity, wind and how hot the fires are.
Hot fires that burn up the top cover, takes years to heal. Exposed soil dries out in the sun. invasive weeds take over.
