Okay I'm not an Antelope expert but this poor female looked to be in really bad shape. I know there are the cutest at this time of year with there winter coats still intact and shedding lots of hair...
but look at her poor neck. Plus there has been Antelope in this area for several years but they don't seem to be populating or expanding very well. Never seen young fawns as none of these females had fawns and last year in a heard of over 20 Antelope not a single fawn.
So what is wrong with her experts?? And will she be okay?

My guess is that she is just moulting her summer hair. Since it seems to largely be on the top of her neck that she looks the worst, and the fact that she just appears to be missing the top hair and not all the hair in that area, I would guess that she is just rubbing it all off the top of her neck while crawling under fences. However, she could have mange.
She looks reasonably healthy otherwise to me. The lack of fawns might be due to a high coyote population in the area, rather than the fact that they aren't giving birth.

~ hope it's just the winter coat coming off and nothing is seriously wrong with her!
