Hand signals

I have read about using hand signals so your partner can direct you to a bedded animal. I have never seen any explanation/illustration of them though.
Any help?

have you ever seen dog trials on t.v.? it is a series of hand signals[ like arms strait abouve your head, to the side etc...] that let you have a buddy on the hill you spot the game from so you can start your stalk, glass back at your buddy and get to try and use his signals to get you right in on the buck. i've used it 1000 times it is hillarious, it does work a lot too but no matter how many times you go over your signals[ like "i'll wave my arm to the right each time means 25 yrds to your right"] when something happens and the buck moves it gets confused alot! but it is fun and worth a try!

We use hand signals a lot when out hunting.
We make up out own signals and make sure everyone is clear on what they mean before we go out.
It's fun and a great way to help each other!
