Hard-horned Bucks?

Has anyone seen any big bucks that have rubbed yet? They should be starting in a week or so, don't you think? I saw a pic of the strip buck that was already rubbed and that surprised me a little.

 seen a mulie just starting to rub and a whitetail that was rubbed and polished already

I saw a small three that was hard horned this morning.

Almost all of the ones I saw on the weekend were still velvet.

i saw a medium 4pt that was hard horned!!

Saw a buck over the weekend that had one horn still in velvet and one rubbed clean. guess he was still undecided!

I have already seen one 2 point with hard shined up horns, no big ones yet but should be pretty soon, I like to shoot them hard-horned instead of in velvet but if there big either way will work.

Just went out tonight seen 4 bucks hard horned and 2 that are still in velvet all of them were small 3's and 4's.

I'll be heading out this weekend to see if I can find any big bucks this weekend.

Everything, whitetail and mule deer, Ive seen up to last night, Sept 4(season opens tomorrow), is still in velvet. Should start seeing some whitetails at least in hard horn in the the next couple days.
