Has anyone heard of a 40 INCHER being killed on the Kaibab?

I just heard a rumor of a 40 inch buck killed on the kaibab. Anyone got any info on this buck?

Yeah, it was actually 43 wide and is just massive. I have a pic on my phone I'll try to post it later.

That will be cool to see.

When I worked in Durango a man I worked with told me of a native woman that didnt shoot anything less than 36". I of course asked for fotos. A few weeks later he brought them in it sure seemed to be so. I believe she is a Southern Ute or Jicarilla Apache neighbor and was not a young woman. So theres a LOT about really huge mulies we never hear or see. Not all hunters are interested in Boone or Crockett.

 i guided on some places that borderd the jicarilla apache indian res. for 9 yrs, there are some unbelievable bucks on that res!, and very spendy to hunt!

No Ryan wasn't guiding or anything, from what I understand the guy pretty much lucked into him. Him and his buddy walked over to glass a draw, decided it was way to cold, and as they walked back to the truck, they junped him out his bed, then he stood there longer enough to get shot.
