Have you found "THE ONE" yet?

In Utah we are getting really close to opening day. Does anyone have "THE ONE" picked out that they want to hunt opening morning? Post pictures of "YOUR" buck or just share info about what you are seeing so far. This is a deer that I have seen for a few years now in a basin up above 10000 feet in Utah. He is not a great scoring buck with crabby fronts but he grew an inline fifth point that looks cool. In the velvet on public land up in the high country I don't think I could pass him up! What about you?

Could I pass him up with Archery equipment given the chance. Nope, I'd be after him hot and heavy. Best of luck.

I only have a General Southern Rifle tag, so no scouting general areas yet.

Thanks for the pics.

He is a Utah County buck. I have several other pictures of him from last year that show distinctly that he is the same buck, but he did grow quite a bit. I will have to post a couple other last year photos to show the growth.

Thats a very good buck, high heavy and wide. What do you think 28" wide or so? I would live to hunt that buck.

I'm a 12 hr drive from my muley hunting spots, mid Sept I'll be out there scouting around, and again in early Oct. I'll be hunting birds and scouting for Muleys. Hope to get some decent pics then.

Here is the first time I saw him last year. He still had a lot of room to grow. Notice how the main beam on the right side of the picture does not go out as wide as the other side both last year and this year. When I first saw him I didn't think he would be much of a shooter but even last year he was a nice buck. I am guessing last year he was 3 years old and this year 4.

Here he is just under his full growth last year. This is about two weeks before the season last year. (2005) All of these pics are off of my video camera so the quality sucks for pictures.

Heck, I've just decided were I'm going to hunt this year. So I'll be out this weekend to check things out and see how many archery hunters are out.
