Pasco, welcome to MuleyMadness! Glad to have another washingtonian on here.

Whereabouts are you settin' your camera's up? (General location is all....of course, I wouldn't expect nor want ya to give me specifics). I was just curious.

Lewis Peak in the Blues, unfortunately that big guy will probably die of old age, of course being from WA you know that

Oh yea. There are some GREAT bulls in the Blues too. I see em every year while deer hunting.

Why will he die of old age?
Does your state get stingy with the tags too?
It's a bummer to live around big bulls and not be able to hunt them more that once in a life time. Good luck, treetop

treetop, they are stingy with the "branched antler" tags (in the Blue Mountains). You can get an over-the-counter spike only tag but that's about it as far as the Blues are concerned (I have one for this season).

I must have seen at least 6 different bulls that were 6x6 or better out there during the Muley season last year.

As for it "being a bummer" to live around them without being able to hunt them....Sure, I'd be lyin' if I said I wouldn't want to harvest one. If that were the case I wouldn't put in for the branched antler draw every year. However, it was REALLY cool to see these bulls up close and personal last deer season and listen to them bugling back and forth, echoing through the canyons. I even got to watch two big bulls push eachother around for over an hour. So I guess you take the good with the bad.
