I just found an archery landowner tag for unit 3,301. I would really like to find some good private land to hunt, for a trespass fee.
How much public land is there in the unit? I will only have five days to hunt and I won't be able to scout before I go. This is the reason why I'm leaning towards private land.
Can anyone help me.

Don't worry, there's plenty of private land in that unit. I only know of one land owner in the area, but if you do some looking around, you shouldn't have any trouble findin some land to hunt. But don't forget about the public land, either!!

How is the public land hunting in the unit?

That's a good Speed-Goat unit with lots of public land. Private is better once the pressure starts.

If you buy a land owner voucher in Colorado the land owner has to allow you to hunt his private land.
